This song found me at the perfect time. I got super emotional the first time I heard it. The feeling was both melancholic and healing. Deciding to let go of someone you truly care for is hard, but sometimes necessary for our growth. I wanted to illustrate the essence of surrendering to what is; which is something I’ve had to do. I don’t regret the love I gave. My heart is too big to harbor any resentment. I thank them for the role they played in my life and the lessons I learned along the way. I wish them peace and growth along their journey. I wish them roses. — Javonne Jay
