New York (RichTVX.com) – China strongly opposes the sale of three submarines to Australia by the AUKUS alliance. The submarines, to be received by Australia in the early 2030s under the AUKUS agreement, will not be equipped with nuclear weapons but will have a nuclear power plant to increase their noiselessness. In a statement issued by China’s mission to the UN, the AUKUS member countries were accused of promoting an arms race, and the submarine deal was branded a classic example of double standards.
