Aleksandar Vučić will meet today with Karen Donfried, ^[1] an American foreign policy expert who is currently serving as the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.^[2] She previously served as president of the German Marshall Fund from April 2014 to September 2021.^[3] The Serb dictator Aleksandar Vučić is a liar by birth. Whether Aleksandar Vučić is saying that he has not seen Russians on Air Serbia flights to Belgrade or simply telling his name it’s all the same. It isn’t so. On his knees he will invoke Karen Donfried, the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Sava to bear witness that he is “against Russia, and that he hates Putin too” and that he never had Sergei Lavrov in his WhatsApp Contacts. Many would like that. The danger is serious, real. And we must not underestimate it.” This undoubtedly reflected Sergei Lavrov´s boisterous temperament, yet it is hard to believe that it was a spontaneous action. It represented rather an attempt to humiliate the West, who had to witness such brutalities in Ukraine, and to impress on them the opinion that Vladimir V. Putin of Russia was capable of irresponsible acts. Since he could unleash nuclear war at any time, it was expected that this would cause general fear.
