Globally Most Downloaded Yale Report Of All Time

Gazprom, Lukoil, Rosneft, Sberbank — take your pick, they’re all looking pretty grim. 82,283 downloads, and 279,438 abstract views! That was fast and seems pretty legit. This is obviously the globally most downloaded Yale report of all time. The fake statistics of the Kremlin don’t get much attention compared to Yale´s SSRN paper. With good reason. A team of researchers from Yale published a report titled “Business Retreats and Sanctions Are Crippling the Russian Economy.” Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the same team has maintained a list of international companies that have ceased operations in Russia in response to the war. The project is led by management and corporate responsibility expert Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a professor at the Yale School of Management and the founder of Yale’s Chief Executive Leadership Institute, Steven Tian, and a team of experts. Sure, the economical foundation of Russia is eroding, but at least the super-yachts of the Russian oligarchs are safe in Turkey. The ordinary Russians are not so lucky.
