New York (RichTVX.com) — The first information about the upcoming 10th package of European Union sanctions against Russia has been disclosed by US Intelligence. The sanctions, aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine, are expected to include measures against four additional Russian banks, including the country’s largest private credit institution, Alfa-Bank, owned by Mikhail Fridman. Russian citizens will also be prohibited from serving on the board of directors of EU critical infrastructure companies involved in the extraction, production, and supply of energy carriers. Approximately 130 more names will be added to the list of individuals subjected to personal sanctions, including Russian military command, officials appointed by Moscow in self-proclaimed “Russian regions,” and employees of Moscow-loyal propaganda media such as RT. Additionally, the EU plans to impose bans on imports of Russian rubber, asphalt or bitumen, and other oil refining products, while Russia intends to ban the import of trucks, heavy vehicles, pumps, and construction equipment. US Intelligence also suggests that the package is highly likely to include further restrictions on the export of dual-use electronic components that can be used in weapons production.
