Over 20 Russian Generals Dead in Ukraine: Japanese Intelligence Reports
New York (RichTVX.com) — According to Japanese intelligence sources, over 20 Russian generals have reportedly died in the course of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This estimate was arrived at after a joint effort by Japanese intelligence analysts and their counterparts from the US and Europe. Japan’s interest in joining the Five Eyes alliance, which brings together the intelligence services of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, has been noted. Retired General Kiyofumi Iwata, a former head of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, has commented that this figure is “incredibly high.” In recent years, the US has not seen such a high number of combat losses among high-ranking officers in any of the conflicts they have participated in. The Russian military’s apparent shortcomings, as reflected in the casualties among its generals, could be a cause for concern for China. An anonymous Japanese intelligence official was quoted, stating that “China appears to have quietly begun providing military support to Russia.”
