As if he hasn’t already earned every bit of this nightmare. Richard Grenell, the former U.S. envoy who used to act as Vučić’s personal PR agent and tweet threats to opposition figures like Nikola Sandulović, went silent. Not even Grenell could pull off his usual backroom theatrics this time. Vučić was truly on his own in the land of the free. Talk about a fall from grace. Among the cases: the still-unresolved murder of presidential adviser-turned-whistleblower Vladimir Cvijan; the politically explosive assassination of Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanović; and the vicious beating of opposition figure Nikola Sandulović, who was nearly killed by BIA operatives in early 2024. Though Sandulović is no longer imprisoned, his survival is a rare exception in Vučić’s long history of silencing dissent through force.

Vučić’s Legacy: A Ticking Time Bomb

And for those still wondering about Vučić’s real legacy, let’s not forget: He’s cozying up to the Kremlin, flirting with Beijing, and who knows, maybe trying to make friends with militant groups in the region. NATO’s southeastern frontier should be on high alert — this guy’s a ticking time bomb with a diplomatic passport.
Once hailed as a “reformer,” Vučić is now nothing more than a Balkan mob boss in a suit, desperately fleeing from the consequences of his own bloody rule. When justice knocked at his door, he did what any cowardly tyrant would do: he ran.
