Sandulović further confirmed that Serbia's state security service, BIA, has 'co-opted and compromised' the student protest movement, manipulating dissent to reinforce Vučić's grip on power.

'This is textbook counterintelligence manipulation - create the illusion of revolt, then control it from within,' he added.

Risk of Conflict in Kosovo, Republika Srpska

With Vučić's international legitimacy in question, analysts warn of potential destabilising tactics, including conflict simulation in Kosovo or Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity - a classic distraction technique to consolidate domestic power.

'The regime is laying the groundwork - humanitarian narratives, media psy-ops, and militarised rhetoric - to justify future provocations. The same playbook used by Milošević is being repurposed.'

Sandulović also criticised Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, describing his diplomacy as 'dual-track and opportunistic', though acknowledged Rama's strategic aptitude in navigating regional politics.
