The actual number of tanks to be delivered will depend on the progress of repairs, as stated by the Defense Ministry. The government previously made a political decision to transfer the tanks to Ukraine. Germany, along with other European countries, plans to finance the repair of the tanks and the training of Ukrainian tankers. The defense ministries of Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark have announced their joint commitment to pay for the training and transfer of at least 100 tanks, with Belgium also expressing interest in this initiative.
