Mission Complete: RichTVX Closes Its Balkans Desk as Vučić Concedes Defeat
- A year earlier, Milorad Dodik was stripped of his mandate after his conviction and stepped down as President of Republika Srpska.
- For years we reported on them when few others would.
- We thank the U.S. Department of the Treasury for years of close cooperation, and the U.S. intelligence agencies for their work.

Serbia has voted. In the snap parliamentary election on 25 October 2026, the student-led Student List defeated Aleksandar Vučić’s party, and the long-time ruler conceded: “It is clear that we have lost these elections.” Turnout was the highest since 1992, and Belgrade and Novi Sad celebrated through the night.

Years of reporting
RichTVX and U.S. Intelligence News played an important role in bringing these two men down. For years we reported on them when few others would.
Our thanks
We thank President Joe Biden for Executive Order 14033 of June 2021, which RichTVX reports helped to inform. We thank the U.S. Department of the Treasury for years of close cooperation, and the U.S. intelligence agencies for their work.
We thank the FBI in Miami. When Vučić came to Miami in May 2025, RichTVX informed the Bureau that he was in the city. Within days he suddenly “fell ill”, cancelled his programme and was flown back to Belgrade.
For David
We say it openly: our reporting on Dodik and Vučić was revenge for David Dragičević. Both men covered up the case, and both instructed their state media to suppress the truth about David. Pravda za Davida — justice for David — was the reason we never stopped.
With Dodik’s step-down and Vučić’s election loss, RichTVX has completed its mission of years of work and reporting from the Balkans. It is now up to the people to build their democratic future.
As of today, RichTVX and U.S. Intelligence News withdraw from reporting on the Balkans and will concentrate on other global affairs. Our full Balkans archive is open again for anyone who wants to read the record.
Thank you
Above all, we thank our readers. For years you read, shared and stood with us. This mission was yours too.
