Taiwan-Japan Film Fund Daily Capital Launches at Tokyo Market

Daily Capital, a newly established fund dedicated to fostering Taiwan-Japan film and television collaborations, made its debut at the Tokyo International Film Festival's market, TIFFCOM. This launch took place during the 'Taiwan Originals: Project Showcase' event, marking a significant step towards enhancing co-productions between the two regions.

The fund has set an ambitious goal of raising NT$100 million, which is approximately $3.1 million. This capital will be allocated to support at least five projects spanning various mediums, including film, television, and animation.

One of the highlighted projects backed by Daily Capital is the period romance titled 'Love Ends in Bloom.' This initiative not only aims to strengthen cultural ties between Taiwan and Japan but also seeks to elevate the quality and diversity of content produced in both markets.
