Political Farce

It seems like the Kremlin’s antics just keep getting more absurd! Yesterday, in what can only be described as a real-life circus act, a Putin lookalike, Vasily, gathered with a bunch of people who know they’re part of a ridiculous charade. And, let’s not forget Viktor Zolotov – yes, the guy deserves his own mention because he’s, well, not the brightest bulb in the room. We’re not entirely convinced he even knows why he was invited! As for Nikolai Patrushev, well, he decided to skip the “meeting,” not because he had a good excuse, but probably because he didn’t want to be part of this farce! The whole spectacle ended quickly and predictably with no real outcomes to speak of. So, why this charade, you ask? Well, as we’ve already reported, Putin’s double, Vasily, went on a trip to China, and they want to make it seem like he’s in charge.

Kremlin’s Shenanigans

They gathered all the big names – Bortnikov, Shoigu, Naryshkin, and the gang – and tried to pretend they were paying attention to the “president’s” double, all to impress the Chinese comrades. They want China to think everything’s hunky-dory and that the security elites are fully behind this Putin stand-in. Oh, and before his trip, the double also had some “phone calls” with some world leaders, but we’re pretty sure they were just pulling the strings from behind the scenes. But hey, he had to personally chat with Netanyahu because, you know, it’s a tough job pretending to be Putin! And, to top it all off, the real Putin is feeling under the weather. He’s on vacation in Sochi, but his doctors are basically camped out next door with all the necessary gear just in case he needs a little “emergency care.” As the days go by since the Kremlin and Putin made that colossal blunder of invading Ukraine, it’s becoming clearer than a clean window on a sunny day that the whole “criminal clique” in the Kremlin is just putting up another one of those Potemkin village shows!
