Elon Musk Sued by Tesla Investors For "500k Cars" Tweet

Elon Musk’s Twitter has only landed him in more hot water. According to reports, Tesla’s very own institutional shareholders are taking legal action to maintain the CEO’s societal media activity.

Tesla produced 0 automobiles in 2011, but could make around 500k in 2019
This follows
his latest data mishap on the stage after Musk estimated Tesla’s 2019 production number to be a million.  The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission claims that this deceptive Tweet contrasts terms of its agreement, and Musk is required to appear before a federal judge to plead his own case.

Meant to mention annualized production rate at end of 2019 likely around 500k, ie 10k cars/week. Deliveries annually still anticipated to be approximately 400k.
